Credit Repair Companies

I want to buy a house and my credit is horrible. I know I can fix my credit myself, but I am so frustrated and drained from trying. I am thinking about hiring a credit repair company to help me, but when I look for reviews they are all linked to the companys actual website and I want honest user reviews instead of company propoganda. Has anyone used a credit repair service and how did it work for you? Did it raise your credit score enough to justify the fees they charge?

I am not talking about a great interest rate loan, but just baseline, what credit score do I need to qualify for a loan at all? Due to some student loan troubles over the last 12 months, my credit score plummetted into the 500s (from around 700), but I make 6 figures with minimal debt so I'm wondering where I need my credit score to be before I can even consider a mortgage.

I have never owned a credit card, but I realize the benefits of having one and maintaining a good score. Also, I will need one when I start looking for apartments of my own. Does anyone know which companies offer credit cards with low interest rates with possible benefits to college/university students?

I just got a Nintendo DSi and have tried to connect to the Internet through my Kyocera router, but it states it needs a security key. I've tried to look up help, but none of the solutions made any sense. One stating to log into the router, don't know how to do that. Another is to look under the router as the it is listed as Security Key, but I've seen nothing that states this, or maybe I don't know what I'm looking for. Please help.

Im looking for a credit repair company to help repair my credit and raise my credit score. There are many companies online but I want to choose a reputable company and do not know how to make sure they are legitimately a good company. Any suggestions?
